This is me just minutes after I was born. I don't look happy, do I? My hands are even still kind of blue.
Here is where everyone found out exactly how small I really was. Can you imagine six pounds even?
Daddy looks pretty happy, huh? I guess he should since he had been at the hospital with Mom for 18 hours when I finally came out.
One more shot by daddy. The little silver disc is a temperature sensor. They wanted to keep my temperature very constant while I was being checked out. Finally I'm checked out, had my APGAR (9, thank-you), got wrapped up and get back to mamma. She was whipped, but still very happy to get me back.
This is the next day. Grandma Olga came about as quickly as mom and dad would let her. I'm only about 14 hours old here.
And of course with Grandma comes Papa Sam. Papa's got that 'been there, done that' look, but I could tell he was pretty excited. He's probably thinking about where to get a good burger.
Grandma's finally calmed down enough to sit down. She was really excited about coming and seeing us.
Speaking of happy Grandmas, here's Grandma Glenda. She looks so happy she could burst. It was a real surprise to see her, since no one thought she was coming.
Here's Grandma with her friend Lindsey who works with her at Woodlawn Preschool. They were both pretty taken with me.
At the hospital I slept in this contraption. It worked pretty well, becuase I was hardly ever awake.
Here I am with my two cousins Elaina Marie and Zacharias. I should get to spend a lot of time with them since they live so close. Daddy says they are a fun to play with.
Here is Elaina holding me. Daddy says she's pretty excited about having a younger cousin to help take care of. She'll probably be baby-sitting with me when mom and dad go out.
