May

When Michigan finally warms up!

May was when the fun really started. It finally warms up in Michigan and we get to go outside without being all bundled up. I had lots of visitors then so it was a busy month.

Here's one of Dad's favorite shots on the whole page. I probably look so happy because they say they're going to finally get me out of this prison.

Before I was born, Mom and Dad practiced on my cousins, Elaina and Zak. Thank goodness no one was hurt. I like it when they come over. When I get bigger, I'm going to be just like Elaina. She's so cool.

Dad's cousin, Jennifer graduated from college in May. What that meant was that I got to meet Great Grandpa Guhl, Dad's cousin Joseph (Jennifer's brother) and Jospeh's then girlfriend/now wife. I, of course, had on my overalls in honor of Dad's grandpa.

The place where Dad works has a softball team. I got to go to some of the games and hang out. Jessica was there. She's older than me, but only by 7 days. Regina came too. I like Regina. She's much hipper than Dad and Mom, who compared to Regina, are dinosaurs.

The fifth month and Dad still hadn't tired on posing me for pictures. You got to admit that I am pretty cute in my overalls. Notice my little dalmation slippers.

Whenever we have company, first thing Mom and Dad want is for our visitors to take a "family" picture. Dad got a tripod from Grandma, so now we'll probably do it all the time.

Aside from all the new family that I met, this contraption was the highlight of the month. Delaney's mom, Tina Law, loaned us this. I get to hang out in the morning while Mom and Dad read the paper and have that first cup of joe.

On Great Grandpa's way back to Iowa from New York, he came with Dad's Aunt Jeannie. I think she drove Grandpa's car and then hung out in Iowa for a while. Dad doesn't look too proud in this pictures does he?

Here's another shot of Grandma Olga looking very happy to be holding me. I like it when my Grandmas and Grandpa come.
